Givenchy Noir Interdit Mascara - Review, Before & After
Mascara packaging seems pretty standard these days - a tube, a wand, and some product.
But Givenchy is switching it up with their new 90° brush.

94¢ Makeup Haul
The Makeup Gods were definitely with me when my co-worker told me to run, not walk, to the Real Canadian Superstore.
She said that there was some sort of sale going on, where there were a bunch of bins filled with makeup, for really cheap, but it was only happening for another 10 minutes.

Face of the Day: Smoky Jade
Hi all! Can I just re-iterate how much I missed playing with eyeshadow? This whole skin allergy thing has really made me fall back in love with creating eye looks, and my 'face of the day' posts as a whole.
This 'face of the day' features a palette that I've been neglecting since I bought it.

Face of the Day: Andreja Pejic Artist Palette
Hello, friends! Today I'm sharing my face of the day, which features my very first MAKE UP FOR EVER palette.
This is my first time trying eyeshadows from MAKE UP FOR EVER. I always swatch them when I'm at Sephora, so I was really excited to try their shadows out.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Lash Show Review
Reviews-Day Tuesday is here! It's been a while since I've done reviews, or tutorials, or anything that involves photographing my face, thanks to my mystery allergic reaction. I've been itching to do a review, and luckily, my allergic reaction has left the area around my eyes (ugh, it wasn't fun), so I can review some falsies.
These are the N-403 Lash Show False Lashes* from MAKE UP FOR EVER.

Current Makeup Routine - Dealing with Skin Problems
It's been a little while since I've posted a makeup review, or a face of the day - and there's a reason for that.
Ever since the last week of October, I've had this mystery allergic reaction developing on my face. It's been freaking me out, because it was similar to the reaction that I had when I found out that I was allergic to benzyl peroxide. But this time the reaction was constantly changing - super dry one day, moist *ugh, I know we hate that word* the next, patchy, bumpy, UGH! Of course, I want to pile on the colour correcting makeup, but I know that I have to be very sparing with my coverage, as to not anger my skin any further.
I didn't want to completely hide the allergic reaction, because that would require A LOT of makeup, and could have resulted in making the reaction worse. My goal has been to make it look like I'm just trying to cover up a bit of a break-out, and not a create a caked-on, full fledged "my skin is rejecting itself" look.
So here's what I have been using to disguise the red-ness.
Almay Smart Shade Perfect & Correct Primer - My only attempt at balancing out the red-ness. This primer is my one and only, and never lets me down. It applies with a creamy consistency, and although it doesn't make the discolouration in my skin disappear, it gives my skin a great starting point.
