Lip Swatch Saturday - Lipstick Queen 'Mornin' Sunhine'

No, I haven't lost my marbles - I have not decided that a Big Bird coloured lips are my new thing.

'Mornin' Sunshine' is one of Lipstick Queen's pH controlled products.  It's yellow in the tube, starts out clear on the lips, then turns a pink-y coral shade after 3 minutes (although the shade might differ on you, depending on your pH level).

Every so often you find a lipstick, and look it up online to find some swatches, only to come up with nothing.  That's exactly what happened with these three shades.

During the holidays NYX makes little gift sets, containing three lip products.  Sometimes these products in the set are pieces from the core collection, and sometimes they are only available when bought as a set, which was the case for the three shades in the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream "Set 9" (If I'm not mistaken).  The set was on clearance at Ulta, so I quickly grabbed it.

Ulta 21 Days of Beauty 2016 - Platinum Perks

Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty for 2016 has officially begun.  From March 13, 2016 to April 2, 2016 Ulta is doing daily deals for all shoppers.  But there are also secret deals, available to 'Platinum Members'.  What's a platinum member, you ask?  Similar to Sephora's V.I.B. Rouge program, a person can achieve platinum status by spending $450 in a calendar year.  With the title, comes an extra birthday gift, more coupons, special deals, early access to new releases, and more valuable points, which can be used towards future purchases.
