Wear Your Liquid Highlighter 3 Ways ft. Cover FX

It's no secret that I love to rock some glow.  But I truly believe that more is more when it comes to highlight.

Here are 3 different ways that you can rock your liquid highlighter and blind your enemies with all that glow.

I'm choosing the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops for this post because they are eye-safe.  There are pretty much no rules with these drops.  And because holographic makeup is so much fun, I'll be using 'Halo' (Review HERE).

#1 - The tops of your cheeks.  This is the most traditional way to wear highlighter - you apply it to the highpoints of your cheeks, just above your blush.  It shines through when the light catches it just so.

I like to apply a base layer with a damp Beauty Blender for a more diffused look, then go in again, by dabbing the product on with my fingertips, for a little bit (or a lot) of extra glow.  Even though 'Halo' is a blue highlighter, I wore a fairly light application, to show how wearable it can be.

#2 - As an eyeliner.  If you're looking to jazz up your eye look, use the Enhancer Drops as an eyeliner.

Also wearing Urban Decay Naked3 Palette.

I started off by doing my regular winged eyeliner with the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner.  After letting it dry completely, I put a drop of 'Halo' onto a surface that wouldn't absorb it (using it like a painters palette), like an old gift card.  I took the tiniest brush I had, my Sigma E06 Brush, and dabbed it into 'Halo'.  From there I sectioned off my winged eyeliner, dabbed the highlighter over top.  I chose to place and dab the product because I imagined that dragging the brush in a straight line motion might disrupt the black liner, and make it bleed.   When applied over a black base, it turns into a beautiful periwinkle shade.

#3 - On the lips.  Yes, you read that right, glow up that pout!  The Enhancer Drops are a super easy way to rock an ombré lip.

To start, I applied Too Faced Melted Matte Liquid Lipstick in 'Who's Zoomin Who' (Review HERE), and let it completely dry.  Then I dabbed 'Halo' onto the centre on my top and bottom lip, then tapped the edges to blend it.  At first I applied it with my finger, however I think that the warmth of my finger made the liquid lipstick base melt a bit.  Instead I applied the product with a clean lip brush.  With this method, the less taps of the brush, the better, just so the product below (the liquid lipstick) doesn't lift.

I especially like this look, because it looks like I have galaxy lips!

The possibilities are endless when it comes to the Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops.  In addition to the 3 ways mentioned above, you can mix it in with your primer, mix it in with your foundation, hey, maybe mix it in with your hair wax and jazz up a pixie cut!
