Inspired By - Monarch Butterflies

I adore this design, but boy, it sure takes patience and a steady hand.  By the time I finished the left hand, I did not have it in me to do the right.

Inspiration:

1)  One thick base coat - Orange -  Sinful Colors (30) "Courtney Orange".
2)  Using dotting tool and thin brush, draw on black outline, then proceed to fill in spaces near nail tip -  Pure Ice (980 CP) "Black Rage".
3)  Using small end of dotting tool, make spots - Sally Hansen, Hard As Nails:  Xtreme Wear (300) "White On".

Winter Wonderland (A Little Late)

I actually did these nails back in December, but I totally forgot about them.  I wanted to do something a little bit festive, something to celebrate winter break.  This one was purely experimental, so it's not some of my best work.  No fancy close-up pictures, because my camera wasn't co-operating, but here we go!!

1)  Two coats - Sally Hansen Hard As Nails:  Xtreme Wear (280) "Marine Scene".
2)  Apply french tips to emulate snow on the ground - Pure Ice (981CP) "Super Star!".
3)  Snowflake stamping plate - M59, with a white polish.

Inspired By - Comics

This design was inspired by the "Ben-Day" comics, like Archie comics, where when you look really closely, has a bunch of little dots.
